I’ve had the same landscaping company for going on 3 years. Always paid.
This morning I get the following text. This would be going on month 4 of not being paid. If this was true.
Imagine your customers not paying you for 4 months. But you paying your crew. Gas. Trailer. Truck and equipment maintenance.
If a customer doesn’t pay in 7 days I would suspend their service until payment is made. Customers have an impact on service and service can only be made when customers pay.
Not only that having 4 months of back logs to go through is crazy. Your books shouldn’t be that far behind.
Within 4 seconds I could pull up proof of payments with notes.
Clean books. Paying customers. Maintenance logs on equipment are everything to the success of exiting and RUNNING a business. Don’t skip the most important things. Do the things you hate because they bring the value.
